# Platform Compliance Checklist

Use this before publishing, messaging, quoting, or sharing payment details on any marketplace.

## Core Rule

Follow the platform's rules first. If a platform requires payments, communication, files, or disputes to stay inside the platform, keep them inside the platform.

## Before Publishing A Gig

- [ ] Read the platform rules for payments and off-platform contact.
- [ ] Remove crypto wallet text if the platform requires platform-only checkout.
- [ ] Remove external payment links if the platform forbids them.
- [ ] Keep claims limited to deliverables, not guaranteed outcomes.
- [ ] Use only demo portfolio files or client-approved samples.
- [ ] Do not imply you are an employee, official partner, or certified expert unless true.

## Before Sending A Message

- [ ] Send one specific, manual message to one relevant prospect.
- [ ] Do not bulk spam.
- [ ] Do not scrape private contact data.
- [ ] Do not ask the prospect to leave the platform if platform rules forbid it.
- [ ] Keep the question simple and related to a real business workflow.

## Before Sharing Payment Details

Use platform payment when:

- The client came from a freelance marketplace.
- The marketplace requires escrow or in-platform checkout.
- The platform forbids external payment links.

Use `payment.html` only when:

- Scope and price are confirmed in writing.
- The client is private/direct or the platform allows external payment.
- The client understands that this is payment for a fixed-scope service, not an investment.

## Payment Evidence

Record successful platform orders, escrow confirmations, bank receipts, or wallet transaction hashes in `payment-evidence-log.csv`. On marketplaces, use the platform order ID or escrow confirmation instead of asking for external payment proof.

Use `platform-safe-listings.md` when publishing to marketplaces that require platform-only payment, platform-only messaging, or escrow. It is written without direct wallet requests or external payment instructions.

## Review And Testimonial Rules

- Ask only for honest reviews after real delivery.
- Do not buy reviews.
- Do not trade discounts for positive reviews.
- Do not write fake client testimonials.
- Do not publish private client work without permission.

## Safe Platform Version Of Payment Copy

Use this on marketplaces:

> Payment can be handled through the platform invoice or escrow after scope is confirmed.

Avoid this on marketplaces unless allowed:

> Pay my crypto wallet directly.

## Safe Private-Client Version Of Payment Copy

Use this for private/direct clients:

> Payment can be handled by bank transfer or crypto by agreement after scope and price are confirmed in writing. Work starts after payment confirmation.

## Red Flags

Stop and revise if the message includes:

- Guaranteed revenue, leads, replies, rankings, or investment returns
- Requests for passwords, private keys, seed phrases, or wallet access
- Requests to bypass marketplace escrow
- Fake urgency
- Fake scarcity
- Fake reviews
- Unapproved use of client files as samples

## Final Check

Before sending:

1. Would this message still be acceptable if a platform moderator read it?
2. Would the client understand exactly what is being delivered?
3. Is payment handled according to the channel where the client came from?
